Go Green (FOTD)

Hi Lovely and beautiful ladies,

As you all know that now I'll continue to write on this blog only so once again I've posted this look here which initially was on my site that had been hacked. Although it is now open but still I'm a bit afraid so want to continue here and quit from there. I got many mails from my readers to post this look once again as they weren't able to see it properly on the site. So for you all I've posted it once again. Hope you enjoy!!

Today’s FOTD was done by me just for sheer fun. Greenery is world’s need nowadays. As you all know that pollution has taken most of our cities in its grasp.Even hill stations and villages haven’t been spared from pollution. Forest and gardens are getting destroyed. The whole of our ecosystem is suffering as mankind has been plundering the precious resources of nature that have been bestowed upon us. I chose this GREEN color for today’s makeup only to spread the awareness and concern for environmental issues which is growing all over the world.I hope you guys like it.

Thanks :D

Eye makeup for today

Hi friends,
Hope you all are fine. As everyone knows that march is here which means the spring season should be here…but in my city it seems as if the winters are not in a mood to leave :D The sky is all gray here as if the sky has done a light smokey look ;D :D
Anyways leave it, today I’m posting a lovely eye makeup of my sweet sister, to whom you all have been introduced before also ( Remember the lovely bride). This eye makeup will suit heavy dresses for function or festival. Will look nice on Indian sari or Lehnga dress.

Here the eye makeup is bit heavy so I have kept the lip color light and subtle for balancing the whole look.

I have used these products for this eye makeup:
Oriflame eye concealer
Colorbar eyeliner

Green shade from Maybelline quad (boo…it’s showing blue here!!)

Maroon from Lakme Desert rose quad

Revlon eye pencil

Revlon mascara

For the lips-

Amway lipstick( don’t know the shade name coz it was her’s)

So this is what i did on my sis when she had visited my place around a month ago. Hope you liked it :D

The tale of a fairy (Bridal look- EOTD & FOTD)

Once upon a time there was a girl, who lived with her loving family. She had various beautiful dreams in her eyes and wanted to fulfill them. She wanted to do something big and different and for which she worked hard in her studies. Time kept sweeping by & her struggle continued. One day she did what she dreamt; she was selected in her judicial examination and she topped in the Bengal judicial competition. She is now a respected judge and has achieved everything she wanted, name and fame, a beautiful house, a car, deep respect in every eyes…hey are you surprised…or confused…about what I’m writing today…please calm down girls…do you know who she is? She is my sweeeeeeeeeet sister Bushra Adil and we call her Shazi.

She is beautiful, intelligent and very down to earth. Simplicity is everything for her. Last year she got her prince charming and got married in the month of November. Most of you must know that I wrote about her marriage. She has always stayed away from any kind of makeup so when the question of bridal makeup came, she wished that I should do her makeup because she didn’t believe in a beautician’s work. It was my wish also so I did it with love and passion. When she saw herself in the mirror…she was very happy with her look & so was I. In her marriage function every view was on her beautiful look..hey I’m not saying that it was because of me..it was because of her innocent beauty and her simplicity which is very rare in today’s time. So ladies, now you can see it today and don’t forget to give your opinion about this post.

Festival look: Golden and black combo

Hi dear friends and readers

There are a lot of festivals coming in India very soon, like Diwali, Eid-ul-zuha and then Christmas. A lot of happiness & excitement is in the atmosphere. People of my country are the most energetic ones in this world especially for celebrating festivals, and ladies? Ohhh they always wait for these festivals because it gives them such a big chance of to look beautiful.

So ladies what are you thinking about? How is your preparation for the coming festivals?

Now when the atmosphere is festive so I thought why not post a festive look for my readers?

I have tried here a different look which can surely insist you to try it for any special occasion. Black & golden are the most favorite colors of any festival so I have chosen the combination of both shades here.

And yes, I wore a nose ring which has given an amazing change in my look. A very small piece of jewelry but is able to give you a pretty look.

I applied an amazing shade which is the combination of black and golden but not very shimmery, it’s a little dull.I got this wonderful shade from my Rimmel trio.

It’s a simple formula of the makeup that if you have applied heavy makeup on your eyes the rest of part has to be light. The main exposure will be your eyes so I applied a very light touch of blush and lip-gloss.

Products I used here.

For eyes-Chambor stick foundation in place of primer

Rimmel Silk eye shadow trio

Revlon kohl black

Revlon eyeliner- Black Beauty

Revlon Lashfantasy mascara

Revlon false lashes

Vega eye shadow brush

For face-

Chambor liquid foundation

Revlon compact powder

Chambor blusher

Loreal face magic pearl powder

For lips-

Street wear Lip gloss

                                                            This was the final look:

So ladies I hope you would like this look and if it can inspire you, try for your festivals.  Have a good day!!!

I blended them with my Vega eyeshadow brush and applied black eyeliner.

I applied green shadow on the half of my lower lid and blue on the other half and then applied mascara.

When I had bought this shadow, I was not completely satisfied and didn't know that it will give me such a great result.
