Certainly Red

Here's my first blog post wearing a red lip! Ta-da! Really trying to break out of my shell and wear some bolder lips. I have a bunch of reds but rarely use them--need to change that habit!

Toned Down Morange FOTD

I bought Mac Morange on a whim recently, and it is the brightest, boldest color I personally own. I absolutely love it but on me, it looks awful without a lipgloss on top to tone it down a tiny bit. My lips are still a vibrant orange, but not as neon! Here's a realllly simple (hopefully not too boring) neutral look I did to pair with it. I just started piling different warm, brown neutrals on my lid, and blended well hoping it would look alright in the end! lol

Natural Neutrals Look

Really simple look (at least compared to more smokey looks I tend to gravitate towards!) I used mainly matte eyeshadows and wanted to focus on really glowy pink cheeks!

Nars Dogon Smokey Look

Ahhh Nars Dogon, you are so lovely to work with. Decided to smoke out the duo-chrome taupe with the  dark blue/black.

The lid color changes in different lighting and angles. Hopefully the pictures capture it a little bit!

Coral Jardin Aires Fotd

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I'm just finishing up my last week of undergrad so I've been really busy! Here's a simple neutral look I did today using Mac Jardin Aires pigment. I need to figure out how to take clearer, better pictures because the camera didn't capture the loveliness of this pigment! I tried taking some eye pictures the last few days and didn't even bother posting them because they didn't come out well. Any advice?!

Mythology Sunset FOTD

Decided to do something with more color for today! Earlier I saw this beautiful orange eye look by Mira (check out her EOTD's, they are gorgeous!) and was inspired to play with my neglected Mac Mythology eyeshadow. It's not the brightest orange ever, but it's still a vivid color! Typically, I'd pair a brighter color with grey or brown or black, but I thought I'd try to be a little more adventurous and pair the orange withs some burgundy & purple instead!
