Golden Steampunk Stamping

I really love the whole steampunk idea. I think it is an interesting and unique style and would love to get to learn more about it when I have more time, but until them, nail polish will have to fill the void!

This is wet & wild The Gold and the Beautiful with a design from my master plate over top.

I loved this effect, which is great since I honestly was not in love with this gold color at first. I am beginning to understand though, that every color can look good, if used correctly.

Green Tips

A much better tip than my last stamped one.
Zoya Apple stamped with Konad Special Black

This was the inspiration, my boyfriends shirt. It's my favorite that he has because it doesn't have a picture of Green Lanturn on it and doesn't have any stupid sayings. XD

Red and Trippy

Done with NYC red polish stamped with Konad special black.

This picture was taken at work because the other hand had started to chip and I didn't want to risk not taking one. lol I really like how it turned out. :D

Super Summery!

This is 2 wet coats of Sally Hansen's Hue, with Zoya Tanzy drag marbled through it, then I stamped it with Konad's Special black.

It came out looking a little Asian, huh?

Subtle Swirlsies

Done with Zoya's Mod Matte Phoebe stamped with Zoya Ibiza, then I put a coat of Wet and Wild Grey's Anatomy over it.

I actually was really unhappy I got this color when I realized it would take like 5 coats for it to be opaque, but when you put it over other colors I absolutely love it.

Water Lillies

More from beach week. Water Lillies. My middle finger nail broke like right after I pained them. :(
Done with Zoya Yummy
Stamped with Zoya Veruschka for the green and Color Club for the Pink

I really liked these, they are so cute. :)

Sea Horses in the current

More beach inspired nails from my beach week. We had limited work space and light since we were camping, so the first image looks better since it was lighter out than the second.
Color Club with Zoya Yummy stamped over top

Sea Horses done over top of that with Konad Special white

I actually like the first image better, but without that lighting it was too subtle, so the sea horses were necessary.

Wave tips from my beach week

The whole time I was at the beach I did water inspired nails. I like pretty much everything I did, this however was prob my least fav.
Done with Color Club nail polish, which I do not know the name of because they are not on the bottles.
And stamped with Konad's Special White

I'll prob be doing a lot more tips now. I have gotten better since these.

Master Plate images

As requested here are the images of my master plate I was given for my b-day, awhile ago. My favorite 3 images are first, followed by a few of me trying to get the whole plate well. They didn't turn out the best, but hope you can see them well enough. :D

Black and White Lace

I wanted to try a stamp on just a base coat for while now, and this looked like the perfect way to do it. What do you think?
Done with Konad's Special Polish in white and black.
I used Sally Hansen's Diamond Base Coat, which I absolutely love, and Seche Vite Top Coat.

I wore this to work and someone asked me "What is wrong with your nails?" Which kinda sucked. XD

Work friendly Pink Wednesday

Most people have jobs, I hope at least, and if you have a job like I do that would be awkward wearing a flashy polish to sometimes it can be hard to be unique and work friendly. Well this is a gradiant and stamped mani I wore to work and while it was noticed by the girls, the men (namely my boss) said nothing about it.
Started with 2 coats of Sally Hansen's Diamond
Then sponged on Sally Hansen's Pink Promise til it really showed on the tips.

Then i stamped on a really simple flower design with Konad's Special White.

It was cute, but by no means simple!

All Tied up or Little multi-colored vests

These came out just so cute. They are the colors of my planned wedding. The green is for my boyfriend, whose favorite color is green. I even let him pick this one out. And the pink is for me. I have a love hate relationship with the color. :p So I tied them together with a stamp off my master plate. It is very very cute and even though it turned out looking like little vests, I still love it. :)

Short nail designs

My cousin wanted to try out the stamping with me when I took my polish case up to West Virgina for vacation. She has short nails, but this shows you do not need long ones to do a great design!
My cousin's nails. The base is Steel her Heart by Sally Hansen, (and it only needed one coat!) stamped with Konad's Special White. Designs are from master plate A.

This is my design. I am actually not too pleased with how it turned out and I blame the Konad Special Red Stamping polish. I originally wanted to do this design on black, which would not work because the special polish was so sheer, and then it kind of bled when I stamped it onto this pearl color, not to mention the staining when taking it off. Any ideas on how to make this color stamp better?

A different stamp for each finger.

These are the first designs I did when I got my master plate for my birthday. I just did a sampling of a bunch of different designs, so there are 10 images! :D

ModMatte Pheobe

I got in my Zoya Earthday purchases. One of the colors I picked was the new ModMatte Pheobe. She is described as being a matte shimmer, but you mostly get the shimmer when you put a topcoat in, in which case you also lose the matte.

I started off with 2 coats. And this picture is taken in the shade. I LOVE it plain.

This was stamped with a BM12 design and Zoya Ibiza, another of my Earthday buys.

As the mattes chip easily with my use of my hands. I added a top coat before removing the polish, just to see the effect it gives.

It did chip VERY fast for me. I only wore it for 11 hours before it started chipping.

A new love of Yellow

I actually have always hated the color yellow. Not many things are pleasant that are yellow in my mind. I have really really bad allergies and yellow has always reminded me of that. BUT I got this yellow from Sally Hansen awhile ago and I actually really like it.
This is HD Lite with a design from Bundle Monster plate BM12 in black Konad special polish

Orbital Blue.

Orbital Blue
Done with MoondancerJen's polish's and unfortunately do not know the brands. Bundle Monster plate.

My first blog post

So hi! I'm new to the blogging thing but have enjoyed reading many already including MoondancerJen's Nails as she is my future sister-in-law and got me hooked on doing my nails. I've been doing them for awhile now, ever since she first brought over her stamping plates so I will have a bunch of pics to post really soon.

I hope you all enjoy my blog, which will mainly consist of photos of the designs I've done, and probably not much typing unless I hear that it is wanted.

Thanks!

Above is my collection of nail polish and my work bench, aka the coffee table in our living room.
