Very simple blue tips

I loved this concept, but am not as pleased with the results. It was intended to be worn to work as a not too flashy mani, but instead I took it off and redid them at like midnight. None the less I did like the idea and wanted to share it.

This is 3 coats of Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor and the tips are 2 coats of Sally Hansen's Blue me Away

I was really hopeful for Pearl Harbor, but alas another disappointing glitter. It is very hard to see the sparkles and especially hard to capture on camera.

Simple Sparkly Tip

Both of these colors belong to my future sister-in-law, so I actually have no idea what they are. XD

I was feeling simple and blue, I think this pretty much covered that. :)

Wave tips from my beach week

The whole time I was at the beach I did water inspired nails. I like pretty much everything I did, this however was prob my least fav.
Done with Color Club nail polish, which I do not know the name of because they are not on the bottles.
And stamped with Konad's Special White

I'll prob be doing a lot more tips now. I have gotten better since these.

And more purple

Not really sure why i have been in a purple mood recently, but I just got these new nail brushes and decided to try doing tips again. I failed, but my boyfriend gave me this design idea. I love how it turned out. It reminds me so much of icicles though, so be prepared to see it again when the weather gets cold again.
Done with 2 coats of Sally Hansen's Lacey Lilac and I striped on Sally Hansen's HD Cyber

This design was super easy and fun to do, but the Lacy Lilac was a bit thick and a pain to apply.

Beauty face masks for winters

Hi ladies,

It seems as though the winters are retreating from the country. Yes, many places are experiencing a rather cool climate and not a cold one although not my city. It’s still the same as it was a month back…shivering winters!

So how is the weather at your places?

Today I wanted to talk about some skin treatments. What do you do with you skin in winter? I know that it’s very difficult to take care of your skin in this chilled weather but to save your skin from this brute season, you should be more careful guys.

One of the oldest forms of beauty treatments is the application of masks for face or body. History is full of instances of woman making use of various natural and organic substances to preserve the youth and beauty of their skin and hair.

Mask have a most stimulating effect, improving blood circulation, toning the muscles, maintaining skin elasticity and porcelaining Tough time , these beauty treatments have not only survived, but have been improved upon and their values have been recognized and acknowledged.

In fact, the modern woman has the advantage of specialized knowledge. She can understand the demands of her own skin and hair and learn to treat it accordingly.

Every woman can even help herself to the beauty aids that exist her own home……on her kitchen shelf.

Some beauty masks for oily skin-

Egg- honey mask -

(All images have been taken from Google)

This mask is very effective for oily skin and very easy to prepare.

Mix a teaspoon of honey with one egg white and apply thickly on the face and neck. Leave for seven to ten minutes and wash off.

Yeast mask-

Mix one teaspoon yeast, one teaspoon suger and half a cup of warm milk. cover and keep in a warm place. When it ferments then use it as a mask.

Some beauty masks for dry skin-

You all know that dry skin becomes a problem in winters and apart from your normal skincare routine, you can take much care of your skin with the help of these beauty masks.

Olive oil mask-

This mask is very nice for dry skin. you can see the difference in your skin after some days.

Take one tablespoon olive oil and mix with two tablespoon of fresh cream. Leave it on the face for 10 minute. remove with cotton wool pads soaked in warm water.

Honey- Orange juice mask-

Fullers earth

Take on table spoon honey, 15 drops of orange juice, 1 tbsp fullers earth and 1 tbsp rose water.

Mix well and apply on face. wash off after 10 minutes.

These masks can be made in your own kitchen and the effects will be amazing. I know it’s difficult for some ladies especially working women to get few hours for their own beauty treatments but i’ll tell them, don’t ignore yourself, take out some time from your responsibilities, see your face in the mirror and listen what it says. It’s your life so it’s your own right to take out some time for yourself; weather it is only on Sundays.Isn’t it?

Tips and cures for dark under-eye circles

Hi beauties,
Christmas is over, you all must have enjoyed your festival and parties and i hope now you all ladies would be in a holiday mood. So friends, enjoy your holidays but take care of your health and beauty as well.
Now let's come to the point. I'm writing this post for my facebook friend and readers Saba and Nisha, who had written me about their under eye dark circle problem some days ago but I hadn't given any reply because I thought that this being a major problem with many people, I can help them by doing a post about it.
So girls, now I'm writing a full post for solving your problem because I wanted to answer in detail.

Dark under eye circles: Dark under eye circle is a common problem, which is caused by lack of sleep, fatigue, stress, dietary deficiency or disease. It is generally easy to spot people with chronic insomnia by the tell-tale circles around the eyes. Sleep is very essential both to health and beauty.

What should you do?
If insomnia is your problem, or you suffer from frequent fatigue, you must consult your doctor. With medical help, you should follow a daily beauty routine.
Remember that the skin around the eyes is very delicate so choose your cosmetic products with care.
Every night cleanse the skin around the eyes with a rehydrant gel or cleansing milk, using moist cotton. Then apply an under eye cream. Products that you are using around the eyes must be very light in texture.
An under eye cream, containing lanolin and almond is ideal. Almond helps to remove dark circles as it is a mild natural bleach. it is also an excellent skin food. Remove the cream with moist cotton wool after ten minutes.

No cream should be left on the skin around the eyes for long periods.
You have to take care of your diet as well. A balance diet which contains a lot of green vegetables, proteins, Vitamins and minerals is essential.
Soak 2 or 3 almonds in water for the night. In the morning peel them off and eat them. This too helps to reduce dark circles.

Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water. Eat fresh seasonal fruits.

Some home remedies which can help:
Soak 1 almond in water in an earthen bowl for the whole night. Peel off the almond and then grind with raw milk. Mix some drops of honey and apply around your eye area. Leave it for 10 minutes and then wipe gently with moist cotton wool. it's a very useful way to reduce darkness.Almond is the best ingredient especially for the skin around the eyes. No doubt, it has a mild bleaching effect and removes under eye circles.
Potato is also useful for skin around eyes but it is much effective to reduce puffiness around the eyes.

Some exercise is very helpful for the dark circles.
In the morning when you get up from your bed, rub your palm with each other. When you feel hot, keep your palms on your eyes and cover them for some time. Remove them slowly. Do it 2 or 3 times & you'll surly see the difference after some months.
You have to be patient if you want to get rid from this problem.

Some products which can help:
There are a lot of products for dark circle in the market. You can use Shahnaz Hussain's Shasmooth, L'Oreal under eye cream. Garnier, Oriflame's and Avon's products can be used too. In my opinion, Shasmooth is a very good product for this problem. I'll soon review it.
Use a good concealer during makeup for these dark circles.

Try to be happy, smile and enjoy your life without any tension. Be positive, it is very necessary for your beauty and health. Life is the name of ups and downs, happiness and sorrow but if you face it with positively, you always will be the winner.
Saba and Nisha I hope this is helpful.
If you can, give any useful suggestion for this problem. You all can also help them.

And by the way wanted to make an announcement.I've reached 300+ followers so I'm planning to have a nice giveaway once I reach 350 followers. So hope it
happens quickly and be ready guys!!

Happy holidays:))

"Tips Only" Challenge

I've been reading Polish Hoarder Disorder for a while now and every week she posts a new challenge. I love looking at the pictures nail polish fanatics send her for each challenge. For this one, I decided to take on the challenge and send her my entry.
You could only use the tips of your nails and had to leave the nail bed bare.
So here's what I came up with:

Tadaaaaaa!
I spent alot of time on these and I have to admit, I got a little impatient towards the end. But I had fun doing them. Unfortunately, I only kept them like this for a little while. I have 2 exams coming up and they were waaaaay to distracting :)

What I used:

- Hema - 2 in 1 Ridge filler & base coat
- Rimmel - Hot Gossip
- Catrice - Hot or not?
- Catrice - Lucky in lilac
- Essence - My little orchid (LE from the Return to paradise collection)
- Catrice - It blue my mind!
- Catrice - Blue's brother
- Gosh - Ocean
- Essence - Back to paradise (LE from the Return to paradise collection)
- Catrice - Sold out forever
- Catrice - Don't feed the birds
- Catrice Nail Expert - Quick dry & high shine topcoat
- Rhinestone wheel (bought on Ebay)
- Damp cotton tip to pick up rhinestones

First I painted each tip in a colour that matched each rhinestone colour.

Then I applied my topcoat and added the rhinestones.

They were sooo sparkly and just couldn't stop looking at them :)

Hope you like them too and definitely check out Polish Hoarder Disorder for all the other entries, more challenges, swatches and reviews!

Thanks for stopping by.
