Lancome Teint Miracle foundation- Review, Swatches , FOTD+ First Video

Hi beautiful ladies,

We all know that spotless and flawless skin is not gifted to everyone. We all bring along a soft and spotless skin at our birth time but with the cruelty of time and atmosphere most of us lose our birth skin. Sometimes some hormones of our own body are responsible for pimples, blemishes and spots. We try to reduce them by a good diet, some times medical help some creams and lotions but it takes a long way to get rid off. When we start makeup, we all want an instant way to get a flawless skin and then our foundations work for us. But which foundation? There are many foundations available in our market but it’s so difficult to choose the right one. Which one can give us not only a flawless look but remains light weight on our face? We have only some choices left now and today I’m going to introduce you the most perfect foundation for getting a spotless and satin skin look which is the just true as it's name: Lancôme Teint Miracle foundation.

Net weight

30 ml

Price

Rs 2700

Packaging

A beautiful slim & sleek glass bottle of 30 ml. Has a glad cap & it is a pump out bottle. Very handy & should be kept safe while carrying around coz it's made of glass. The pump makes it very easy to take out the required amount.

In the mirror of my own experience

When I first applied it, the words which came out after seeing its result on my face were…wow it’s just perfect. I have used many foundations but only some foundations could impress me. A lot of bottles are still waiting to use them after using one or two times because they are not right choice for my skin tone. Some of them are so heavy after applying of course they gave the good coverage but I hate to apply a foundation plaster on my face. Some were light weight but their shades couldn’t match from my skin tone. I have usually been wearing Revlon Colorstay foundation because it’s really a light weight, only on some occasion I wear its PhotoReady foundation because it’s a bit heavy. But after applying this one I have to realize that it’s not only so light in weight but also gives a great coverage to my skin. I wore it at a function which was from morning to late evening. The whole day I never felt that I had applied something on my face and after reaching home I was surprised to see that the effect of the foundation was just same as morning. I poured cold water two or three times during the day but there was not an inch of difference in the effect of my foundation. It is totally oil free, but in spite of that it doesn't make the skin dry. I felt a natural moisture in my skin. I can’t express my feeling after wearing it. It’s really a water proof foundation; I realized it while I was washing my face.

At first I tried to remove some foundation with a wet cotton wool but I was amazed to notice that not a tinch of stain of foundation was on the cotton wool, hey..that was not the end of its miracle because it got removed very easily using my Liz Earle cleanser. What else should we want from a great foundation, like this-amazing coverage to hide any imperfections on our skin, miraculously light weight, water proof & oil-free, yet removes easily using a good cleanser! So I don't think you need anything else from this magical bottle?

Good points

The packaging is so stunning like a cute perfume bottle, very handy and still safe and secure.

It’s a pump out bottle so you can get your required amount after pressing the pump very easily.

A little quantity will be enough for getting a good coverage.

It has a very high coverage foundation. Conceals all the spots of the skin. I don’t require a concealer after applying this foundation.

I can find an even, unified and flawless skin without the feeling of something heavy on my face. It’s amazingly very light weight that sometimes I feel as if I’m only wearing my moisturizer on my face. It gives an oil free, natural moist skin.

It’s great for all types of skin, if you have so much oily skin you only have to do to apply a good pressed powder after applying it.

It’s completely water proof; I don’t need to worry about it fading out neither from sweating, getting wet in rain, nor by pouring cold water on my face.

On blending

I can remove it very easily with any good cleanser. I only need to apply a good cleanser on my face, massage gently and then remove it with a moist cotton wool. I only need a face wash or foaming cleanser for removing my arrogant eye liner & mascara.

The cost of this foundation is worth its infinite qualities.

You can really get a miraculous foundation after buying it.

This is how it looks on me

Bare face

Using Lancome Teint Miracle foundation

Bad points

I didn’t find any bad point in this foundation. It’s marvelous!

Rating

5/5

Recommendation

I highly recommend this great foundation to my readers and visitors. You need just once a try the rest of thing you’ll feel yourself.

Purchase it again?

Of course, I would love to purchase it again and again.

Final thoughts

Now what i feel is that nothing's left to say now or rather write now....in short & sweet- Fabulous & Perfect!!!!

Finally here is a small video showing how i apply my Lancome teint Miracle foundation!

So girls, what do you think about this foundation? Have you used it ever? What do you say? In my opinion, your views are not different from me but I would love to read your thoughts in your words. Don’t forget to share with me through the comment section!

Queen Cosmetics Lipsticks- Review, Swatches & LOTDs

Hi pretty ladies,

What’s going on? Hope you all are very well and happy. Ladies, now is the time when many festivals are gonna start one by one so you all must be a bit of concerned about your dresses, jewelries and of course about your makeup. So what’s new in your makeup box? New foundation, mascara, blush or lipsticks?

Lipstick word reminded me of the products that I’m reviewing today & that is something very adorable and gorgeous: 2 lipsticks from Queen Cosmetics so let’s start t he review!

Queen London lipsticks

These lipsticks are from Queen Cosmetics London, a brand highly famous from its skincare products for sensitive skin. Lipsticks are not a major feature of their product range; they are an area they are looking to develop in the future. Queen lipsticks come in a range of vibrant colors.

Shades

Queen lipsticks come in the following shades: Pink( magenta pink), Medium ( a sheer mid-red), Soft Pink ( bubblegum pink) Maize ( an orangey brown), Coral ( a pinky red) and Light Red ( a bright, slightly orangey red).

My shades

The lipsticks which I’m going to review are the two among the 6.These are in two shades, the first one is Maize, a light brown shade and the second is Soft Pink, which is quite near to a hot bubblegum pink shade.

Texture

The textures of both of lipstick are matte but moisturizing and velvety. These are completely moisturizing, you have no need to apply a lip balm before applying them. Even if your lips are dry, you will feel them quite moist just after applying this.

Price

£10.00

Ingredients

Castor Oil, Oley Alcohol, Candelilla Wax, Acetylated Lanolin, Alcohol Carnauba Wax, Ozokerite Wax, Lanolin, Beeswax, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Methylparaben , Pigments

Pigmentation

The pigmentation is just remarkable. I have seen such pigmentation only in some very high brands lipsticks. You’ll presume that only from the fact that the swatches which you are seeing on my hand are only one swipes each.

In the mirror of my own experience

I was highly impressed by their pigmentation and super creamy texture only after swatching once on my hand. So I was eager to apply them on my lips and wanted to do it quickly. That day my lips were a bit dry but I applied the Soft Pink lipstick without moisturizing my lips. The texture was super creamy & it applied like a dream. I applied just one swipe on my upper lips and another one on the lower lips and got a gorgeous color. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my dry lips had turned completely moist. The creamy bubblegum pink shade was really looking so pretty. After removing the Soft Pink lipstick, I tried the second one and I got that quality-wise it was completely similar. The intensity of the color, the velvety texture all were the same. The orangey brown shade was my favorite. After applying 2/3 times these lipsticks have become my hot favorite but the only problem with it is the fear of them melting in the hot season. But anyways, it'll be safe in my refrigerator!

Good points

Super creamy and soft textured.

The pigmentation is great

No need to apply a lip balm before applying it as they moisturize them well!

Your lips will feel moist & smooth after applying it.

Only one or two swipes are sufficient to obtain the precise color.

The ingredients are super and high class. They are a mixture of natural and synthetic ones which are safe and effective for all type of skins especially sensitive skin.

The price is not much as compared to the qualities.

Queen lipsticks are shipped world wide so it is not difficult to get them. Just order your faves and they will reach you within two-three weeks very safely.

The swatches; 1 swipe each:

Outside

Inside

Bad points

The packaging is quite ordinary & simple. I wish it was more elaborate & fancy.

Limited shades in their collection.

Can melt in hot weather if you are not cautious.

Final thoughts

In the ending I want to say that I love these lipsticks. I got everything which I want from any lipstick. The all qualities which I desire from a high brand lipsticks. I’ll want to request from Queen Cosmetics to develop their makeup ranges and produce more shades in their lipstick range. I hope they will do so near future.

The LOTDs:

Rating

4.70/5

Recommendation

I highly recommend these lipsticks to my readers and friends. I’m sure after using these lipsticks you all would love them. But the condition is to try once…

Manly 80 colors Eyeshadow Palette by KKcenterHK- For the fun of playing with colors!!

When I started this blog, I was a fond of different eye shadows, but i still kept very few eye shadow trios & quads in my makeup box because despite of being a makeup lover I didn’t do much experiment on my eyes. I had been a junkie of lip colors those days but after starting this blog I bought lots of eye shadow palettes and did many experiments on my eyes. I’m happy that my readers loved those experiments of colors. When KKcenterHK offered me to do some reviews of Manly palette I chose their 48 colors palette but they requested me to do for the 80 colors manly eyeshadow palette, I agreed for that but I thought many times that what would I do with a lot of colors LOL, hey I’m not a makeup artist or something like that…but was really excited to see a lot of colors. Now I have this lovely palette and today I’m here to review this & share my experience with you!

Price
$21.33

Packaging

I should appreciate KKcenterHK for sending me this palette so safely without any damage. It was wrapped very securely by them with many covers of bubble wrap. I opened the box very excitedly. After removing a bundle of bubble wrap, I saw another bubble wrap cover over the box. Now this is what i call SAFETY!!

Now about the Manly palette packaging…I would like to say that it’s classy and beautiful. In a white Manly packet a slim bright black case comes which is so pretty. After opening the case I got there were two separate palettes with 40 colors each in short, they were double stacked :D There was also a plastic film to cover each palette. Beside this, there is also a small purple ribbon at the corner of the palette kept under to lift it.

Overall I can say that I’m really impressed by the packaging :D

Shades

There is an extensive selection & a great mixture of both matte and shimmery colors. The colors in the palette aren't anything that can make you over excited. There are no strange and new colors that I've never seen ever but if you are looking to build your basic color collection, this is great.

Upper palette

The one below

If I talk about the colors, they are impressive especially in the shimmers. Every colors are highly pigmented and silky, very nice in blending. But I can’t say the same thing about the matte colors which I found seem to usually be chalky and difficult to blend. Most of matte colors are not pigmented. I had to apply again and again for swatching on my hands. I felt they are quit powdery and after some times they lost their colors and faded so without any primer you’ll be disappoint after applying the matt colors.

The pots of colors quite small but if you have a lot of colors you shouldn’t worry about the size.

In the mirror of my own experience

I love the selection of colors. Every basic color which you need is available in this palette.

They come with basic white and black, a shimmer and matte version of each. The black and silver are fantastic for smoky eye makeup. Some colors like red, turquoise and some shades of oranges are quite harder to find in a common palettes. I love the matte brown shades because it’ll be useful for define my brows. Gold and orangish gold colors are really pretty & unique. But this palette has a lot of yellows and green shades which I don’t like. I’m unable to understand why they keep so many shades of the same color & that too yellow? I don’t think one needs yellow shadows much in real life...isn't it?

Final thoughts

Finally I love this palette. If you see the price tag, you’ll not mind the weakness of some matte colors. If we ignore lot of yellows and greens, the variety of colors are great. You don’t need to look for any other palette when you sit for playing with the colors. I don’t say that it’s an ideal palette for a makeup artist or professionals but for beginners, it's a great one at such a low cost!!

Shades swatches randomly : 10 matte (3-4 swipes each)

10 shimmers (2-3 swipes each)

Recommendation

I really recommend this palette to all my readers. All the shimmery colors are highly pigmented and buttery silky. You don’t need even need to apply a primer before applying them but for the matte colors, you really need a good base or primer.

Rating

:D:D:D.75/5

So pretty ladies, what are you thinking about this palette? If you want to play from different colors without spending a big amount of money, you should grab this palette very soon.

P.S.- EOTDs & Tutorials using this Manly eyeshadow palette coming very soon!

Sleek Makeup Caribbean Collection Aruba Blush & Bonaire Pout Polish- Review, Swatches & LOTD

Hi everyone

After reviewing the Curacao i-divine palette of Sleek Makeup’s Caribbean Collection, my readers have sent me many mails to review the Aruba Blush and Bonaire Pout Polish. So today I'm reviewing these other two things of this collection. Hope you find it helpful & like it :)

Aruba Blush

It’s a bright matte orange blush which is a part of the Caribbean Collection.

Price

£4.29

What Sleek Makeup says

Be brave and brighten your look with a cheeky hint of coral and turn into a bird of paradise with Caribbean inspired colors!

Packaging

Comes in a very handy small box. Inside it you'll find a wide mirror on one side & the blush on the other.

Shade

It’s a bright orange shade which gives a lovely coral shade on your cheeks after applying with a light hand.

Texture

Silky and smooth, so pigmented that after touching it for the first time, you might hesitate in applying it on your cheeks thinking that it may be too bright & bold.

In the mirror of my own experience

As I told you that when I saw it for first time on the net, the first thought of mine was ‘ hey it’s not for me' & even after touching it my thoughts were the same but when I applied it on my cheeks I was amazed to see its lovely shade and finish. I applied it with a very light hand & gentle strokes so it gave a soft orangish coral look to my cheeks. All my hesitation had gone on seeing the shade. I can apply it very comfortably for my holiday tours to any hill station or sea side even at day time and it’ll be a great option for a night party so I really love this blush ♥♥

The lasting power is amazing. It can stay easily for 5 to 6 hours without any reapplying. In my opinion, no one wants more lasting power in a blush. If you want more, you could get longer wears by using a primer or a cream blush underneath. Like many others I also feel it a cheaper dupe for Nars Taj mahal!!

Good points

I love the packaging which is so handy and I can carry it out very easily for any visit.

Love its matte silky texture.

The pigmentation and smoothness is great.

You can get a lovely coral look after applying it with gentle strokes.

It can make your holidays colorful.

It can be toned down for lighter complexion and can be carried well by darker ones as well.

With a very light application, you can get a natural look which would be perfect for any day occasion.

If you are going for a night party, apply it with a shimmery highlighter. Your cheeks will get radiant just like the lights and it’ll be impossible for anyone to ignore you easily...haha!!!

The lasting power is very impressive keeping the price in mind.

Again I can say that after getting these many qualities, the cost looks unbelievable.

Bad points

If you like light and natural makeup, this blush is not for you.

There is no brush provided with this blush so never forget to carry out your own blush applicator if you are going for a holiday.

Final thoughts

Finally there is no need to say that it’s an impressive product which is definitely a worth buy. The quality, the texture, the intensity, the cost…all are great and incredible ♥♥

Recommendation

This is a definite repurchase for me & I will highly recommend it to all my readers.

Bonaire Pout Polish

The last thing of this collection is this Bonaire Pout Polish which a tinted lip conditioning balm.

Net weight

10g

Price

£4.29

What Sleek Makeup says

A tinted lip conditioning balm formulated with natural oils as well as having a high SPF of 15, giving you gorgeous conditioned lips that are protected from the Sun’s harmful rays.

Packaging

It comes in a round pot with the contents inside. Very handy & travel friendly. The lid has a beautiful design of a boat & palm showing the Caribbean.

In the mirror of my own experience

Many girls are afraid of wearing orange lips due to the fact that it may look funny or too bold. But here is the solution to your fear & problem. This Bonaire Pout Polish is a funky coral tinted balm which is very wearable & is not too dark or intense. It moisturizes the lips nicely giving it a light coral shade which looks fabulous with dark eye makeup. It has a lovely caramel sort of fruity smell also which made me feel as if it was something edible!! Another great thing is that it has SPF 15 which provides sun protection to the lips. It’s great for everyday use & I’m loving this Pout Polish!!

Good Points

Very moisturizing and non-sticky.

Not too bold & bright.

Has SPF 15 which is a great quality.

Love the fruity, yummy smell!!!

Great for everyday use, but you need to apply it skilfully.

Again, the product is worth the price!!

LOTD

Bad points

Has to applied using a brush coz a finger application may not be very hygienic.

The lasting power is not very impressive; just 2-3 hours & then you need to reapply it.

Rating

♥♥♥♥

So girls what do you think about this blush & lip pout?? Have you tried it...if not; you are definitely missing out a lot!!!!

P.S.- FOTD & EOTD using the whole collection coming soon!

Adorn Cosmetics Chubbi Eyeliner- Review, Swatches & EOTD

Hi lovely ladies,

At first I want to say thanks to my readers who always have been writing mails and showing their love for my blog. I know it’s difficult in today’s time to spare time for reading any blog daily and write a detailed mail on that topic. I would like appreciate my readers and say thanks to them again.

Today I’m reviewing a great product which definitely is liked by the ladies who love pencil eyeliners. If I tell about me, I had been never crazy about kohl and pencil eyeliners but I have seen some of my friends, sister and cousins who can’t live without a kohl or black pencil eyeliner. They use it daily and no doubt their eyes look deep and beautiful with it because I admit that sometimes black kohl or pencil eyeliner make the eyes very lively and charming.

Today I’m reviewing Adorn Mineral’s Eye Define Chubbi eyeliner. I’m sure this chubby eye liner will be a great option for those ladies who love black kohl pencil, when they will think about choosing a pencil eye liner which they can apply even everyday without the fear of any harm.

Adorn Mineral’s Eye Define Chubbi eyeliners

It’s a chubby mineral pencil eye liner.

What it claims

Adorn Eyeliners contain Certified Organic Jojoba Seed Oil and can be used to enhance and define the appearance of your eyes and create the look of more fuller lashes. Adorn's unique Chubbi pencils create a natural more softer line to that of the skinny pencils which provide a more a defined eye line.

Ingredients
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Corn Starch Modified, Euphorbia Cerifera(Candelilla) Wax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Tocopherol, Mica (CI 77019), Zinc Oxide, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, may contain (+/-) Tin Oxide (CI778161), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Chromium Dioxide Green (CI 77288), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Chromium Hydroxide Green (CI 77289), Pigment Violet (CI 77742)

*Denotes a Certified Organic Ingredient

Shades

It comes in 4 shades.

Graphite: This one is an ash silver color pencil.

Smokey Quartz: It’s a brown shade pencil.

Amethyst: This one is a unique tea rose pink colored pencil.

Onyx: This one is evergreen black eye liner pencil and I’m going to review the same.

You can choose the color according to your eye’s color.

Adorn Mineral’s Eye Define Chubbi eyeliner (Onyx)

It’s an intensive black pencil eye liner which is a bit chubby, has a thick tip & it gives a natural look to the eyes.

Net weight

5 grams

Price

$ 45

How to apply

Apply close to your lash line, paying close attention to the outer corners where the line should head out and up in the direction of the end of your brow and not down following the natural eye shape. This creates droopy looking eyes.

Packaging

The packaging is simple but elegant. A nice shiny silver pencil adorned with the Adorn Mineral logo and with a transparent beautiful cap to close it tightly.

In the mirror of my own experience

This pencil eye liner seems to be the color of coal, deep intensive but soft in texture. Applies on the lids like a dream. It’s not hard and shiny. I have used some eye liner pencils which becomes hard after sometime and I hate to use such hard type of eye pencils on my eyes. I applied it on my bare hand first for the swatching and loved its intensity and smooth texture but I was not sure that this intensity will be the same on the bright eye shadows but when I applied it after using a bright shade from my Sleek palette on my lids, I was amazed to see its darkness and intensity. It was so soft and smooth over the shadow as well. I was really impressed by its smoothness and pigmentation. Besides this, this eye liner does a wonderful job of staying power which is quite rare for a pencil eye liner. I wore it for a small trip to the neighboring hill station, Mussoorie, in the morning. I came back home in late evening after enjoying the whole day and I found that my eye liner’s shape was almost the same. The only thing which I had done was to apply my Revlon compact before applying this liner on my eyes. A bit of smudging which made my eyes more deep and intense. It has been only eye liner pencil I have been using these days and I really love it.

Good points

It's the best thick pencil eye liner I have ever used. The quality of this liner is amazing.

I love its elegant packaging.

You can use it at the place of liquid liner in hurry and it can give the same shape to your eyes like liquid liner.

It is not hard and shiny.

The texture is smooth and soft but it doesn't melt easily so I can keep it comfortably in my purse.

I can make it sharp with my paper knife easily because there is no sharpener is given with it.

I love its intensity, it works smoothly not only on the bare eyes but on the bright eye shadow as well.

It doesn't smudge or get dis shaped easily which is a common problem with a pencil eye liner.

The lasting power is so strong. You can forget about it after applying on your eyes for the whole day.

Besides these qualities the lovely fact is that it's a mineral high quality eye liner which can never give any harm to your eyes. You can apply it everyday without any fear & tension.

Bad points

A bit pricey :(

If you like skinny pencil eye liners, you'll not like it.

No sharpener has been provided with it.

Not available in India but it is shipped world wide and can be ordered online from their website. The product arrives quickly and safely. But if you don't do online shopping, you'll definitely be disappointed.

Recommendation

Oh yes, I highly recommend this to my readers because I'm really loving it these days!!!
