How I store my Nail Polishes

Hi girls!!

I was asked a long time ago to show how I store my nail polishes. but I completely forgot about it, and today I remembered so I decided to do it. 

I store my nail polises in one drawer, so they are away from sunlight, and they will not dry as fast. 

I bought a little box with compartments from IKEA which cost me £13.27, and I think it is perfect for my needs, and fits all my nail polishes and more as my nail polish colection tends to grow almost every week!

Olá meninas!!

Já á algum tempo uma menina deixou-me um comentario a pedir para mostrar como guardo os meus vernizes, mas esqueci-me completamente e só hoje me lembrei.

Eu guardo os meus vernizes numa gaveta na minha comoda, para os proteger da luz do sol e da humidade da casa de banho, assim eles não secam tão depressa.

Então eu comprei uma caixa que tem compartimentos no IKEA, e para mim é perfeita, os meus vernizes cabem lá todos, e ainda cabem mais o que é bom porque pelo menos de 2 em 2 semanas compro vernizes.

Então deixo-vos com as fotos para voces verem melhor como eu guardo os meus vernizes.

Top Ten Favourite Summer Nail Polishes

From Left to Right:

Orly Rage - An amazing metallic rose gold. I love metallic nails in summer as they really catch the sunshine. This is equally pretty at Christmastime.

OPI Dim Sum Plum - I love this deep pink shade for toes in particular.

Orly Fancy Fuchsia - This is more vibrant in person than it looks in photos. Texture is a bit goopy but I really love the colour. It's a gorgeous Barbie pink.

Barry M Lemon Ice Cream - I did a post about this one a while back. It's a nice cheery yellow (:

CND Guava - A lovely peach. It's quite a soft colour so it's a good option for something which is still bright but not fluorescent or over the top. CND polishes are great quality too.

Revlon Tropical Temptation - I think this is the perfect coral shade. It doesn't have too much red, pink or orange in it - just the perfect balance!

Rimmel Coralicious - This is more of a red coral. I like this one on my toes especially with Tropical Temptation on my fingers.

Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream - A gorgeous sky blue!

Essie Coat Azure - This is a medium blue with a slight bit of shimmer. It definitely reminds me of the sea!

Rimmel Sky High - A nice medium turquoise colour.

Chanel and OPI unveil their winter nail collection

Chanel's new winter collection  will hit the stores around August September. These three colours from the collection are called Graphite, Quartz and Peridot, How exciting is that?!? True. it might be a little bit too soon to be talking about winter collections, after all the summer hasn't even started, but I have to say, I love these colours, specially the last olive metalic, it's soo pretty and unusual, is that going to finally be my first chanel nail polish? we'll see.. I'll keep you posted ;)

A nova coleção da chanel, vai estar disponivel nas lojas apartir de Agosto Setembro. Estas três cores da coleção cham-se Graphite, Quartz e Peridot. muito bom não é?!? Verdade seja dita, talvez ainda seja um bocadinho cedo para estar a falar de coleções de inverno, porque ainda nem verão é, mas tenho a dizer que, eu amo estas cores, especialmente a cor mais esverdeada, tipo azeitona metalica, é tão bonita e tão diferente, será que é desta que compro o meu primeiro verniz da chanel? Talvez... Eu depois digo-vos :)

 OPI also unveilled their winter collection inspiered by the Miss Universe contest, and each nail polish is named after a catch frase most sid by the contestants backstage. These nail polishes will also be available from September, but I have to say, they don't excite me as much as the chanel collection do, I feel like I've seen all this colours before, They remind me some of the Katy Perry collection that they did a while ago, but I am going to wait for more pictures and some swatches, I might change my opinion.

A OPI também revelou a coleção deles de inverno, que desta vez é inspirada por Miss Universo, e cada cor tem o nome das frases mais ditas pelas concorrentes quando estão backstage. Os vernizes também só vão estar disponiveis apartir de Setembro, mas tenho mesmo que dizer, que estas cores deixam-me um bocadinho desapontada, gosto muito mais da coleção da chanel, porque acho que estas cores já as vi antes, e no meu ver, são muito parecidas á coleção que a OPI fez há uns tempos atraz da Katy Perry, mas vou esperar por mais fotos, e swatches, porque posso ainda mudar de opinião.

Chicks, Eggs and Easter NOTD

Have a great Easter weekend everyone! Hope you all have some yummy chocolate eggs or hot cross buns to tuck into! .....How sweet is this little chick? :)

I thought I'd share a photo of all our Easter goodies which look very delicious! I also decided to be a bit festive with an Easter NOTD. I used China Glaze Re-fresh Mint and painted my ring finger with China Glaze Something Sweet. Apologies if the application is a bit shoddy - these were a product of my insomnia at about four in the morning! The formula of these polishes is not the easiest to work with either (always blame it on the formula!). I do really love these pastel colours though. This was three coats followed by Illamasqua Top Coat.

Yummy in Yellow

Barry M is one of my favourite brands for nail polish and this is my newest acquisition from them. It's called Lemon Ice Cream # 307 and it's just a gorgeous shade of yellow - bright but not garish. Unfortunately the texture of this one is not too fantastic. While it applies easily it is quite sheer so 3 coats are required which is a bit time consuming. For a few euro though I don't think you can complain too much! I'm really loving the colour yellow lately and I'm very much enjoying having this polish on my nails - i'ts lovely and cheerful! (: I'm wearing 3 coats in these photos followed by Illamasqua Top Coat.

Continuing on with my current yellow obsession I just bought this top from Zara for the summertime which I thought I would share with you. I've never previously owned any yellow clothes so this is definitely something different for me but I can't wait to wear it! I bought this polka dot skirt from Zara too which I think I'll wear with the top!

Today while I was waiting for a friend to go Uni, I went into H&M, and I noticed lots of peachy and orange, pink and corals colours, and then I realised those colours are everywhere this season.

Nails Inc - Crackle Nail Polish

I seam to going on and on and on, about crackling nail polish, but almost every day, a new brand launches a crackling effect nail polish, and every time I see crackling nail polish, I fall more in love with it!!

At first I was like, hum, I do not like this effect, but now, I just want to buy some colours and see the different looks. Every brand has the basic black, and are now also introducing new colours, which I really love for the summer looks. Nails Inc has some great colours in their collection. My favourite is called Hoxon crackle nail polish which is a nice dark purple. 

Eu pareço não me calar com o effeito crackling, mas quase todos os dias, uma marca nova lança um verniz de efeito crackling, e cada vez que vejo vernizes crackling apaixono-me!!

Primeiro confesso que não gostava nada deste efeito nas unhas, mas agora, quero comprar alguns destes vernizes e tentar looks diferentes. Todas as marcas têm o preto, e algumas começão a introduzir cores diferentes, que realmente adoro especialmente para o Verão. A Nails Inc tem umas cores fantasticas na colecção deles. A minha perferida é o Hoxon Crackle que é um roxo escuro.
