I requested for and was sent the
Sponge Bun Twist. This comes in two sizes, I prefer the big one for my long and thick hair.

I am no stranger to Sponge Bun Twists. I have used this tool since I danced ballet as a kid but growing up, it got harder to find in stores.

I am glad that
KKCenterHK was able to give me a chance to use this again.

This is a great tool for creating a quick and easy hair bun:

Inexpensive.

Lightweight.

Adjustable opening.

Requires minimal effort.

No teasing involved!

Wire holds your
bun in place all day.

My sister allowed me to take pictures of her very first try using
the Sponge Bun Twist. She has red hair and this will make it easy for you to see the steps.

I gave her instructions for the classic bun and took pictures.

See how easy this works:

Step 1: Gather hair (curly or straight) into a ponytail.

Step 2: Place the twist at the base of your ponytail.

Photobucket

Step 3: Gently lift the twist and slide it
towards the ends of your hair.

Photobucket

Step 4: Roll hair forward.

Photobucket

Step 5: Bend the twist inwards into a circle, adjust, and tuck the ends to conceal the twist.

Step 6: Secure short layers with hair pins and hair spray if needed.

Pull out a few face-framing wisps if you like.

Bun: DONE!

For $1.98 and a bun that can easily be done under a minute, this is one amazing product that I highly recommend!

I plan on getting backups soon.
Sponge Bun Twists are hard to find where I live.

For those of you who are wondering,
KKCenterHK is based in Hong Kong, has prompt shipping and good customer service.

After K made her very first classic bun with the help of this tool, I styled her hair into a slightly messy bun by tugging strands to make the bun look fuller and loose.

To create volume at the crown, gently push the bun back and forth until desired volume is achieved. Use hair spray to hold the lift.

There are tons of ways to accessorize a bun and here we used my bright orange H&M flower pin. It created a nice contrast with K's black leather jacket.
