Ladies, now is the time when many festivals are gonna start one by one so you all must be a bit of concerned about your dresses, jewelries and of course about your makeup. So what’s new in your makeup box? New foundation, mascara, blush or lipsticks?

Lipstick word reminded me of the products that I’m reviewing today & that is something very adorable and gorgeous: 2 lipsticks from Queen Cosmetics so let’s start t he review!

Queen London lipsticks

These lipsticks are from Queen Cosmetics London, a brand highly famous from its skincare products for sensitive skin. Lipsticks are not a major feature of their product range; they are an area they are looking to develop in the future. Queen lipsticks come in a range of vibrant colors.

Shades

Queen lipsticks come in the following shades: Pink( magenta pink), Medium ( a sheer mid-red), Soft Pink ( bubblegum pink) Maize ( an orangey brown), Coral ( a pinky red) and Light Red ( a bright, slightly orangey red).

My shades

The lipsticks which I’m going to review are the two among the 6.These are in two shades, the first one is Maize, a light brown shade and the second is Soft Pink, which is quite near to a hot bubblegum pink shade.

Texture

The textures of both of lipstick are matte but moisturizing and velvety. These are completely moisturizing, you have no need to apply a lip balm before applying them. Even if your lips are dry, you will feel them quite moist just after applying this.

Pigmentation

The pigmentation is just remarkable. I have seen such pigmentation only in some very high brands lipsticks. You’ll presume that only from the fact that the swatches which you are seeing on my hand are only one swipes each.

In the mirror of my own experience

I was highly impressed by their pigmentation and super creamy texture only after swatching once on my hand. So I was eager to apply them on my lips and wanted to do it quickly. That day my lips were a bit dry but I applied the Soft Pink lipstick without moisturizing my lips. The texture was super creamy & it applied like a dream. I applied just one swipe on my upper lips and another one on the lower lips and got a gorgeous color. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my dry lips had turned completely moist. The creamy bubblegum pink shade was really looking so pretty. After removing the Soft Pink lipstick, I tried the second one and I got that quality-wise it was completely similar. The intensity of the color, the velvety texture all were the same. The orangey brown shade was my favorite. After applying 2/3 times these lipsticks have become my hot favorite but the only problem with it is the fear of them melting in the hot season. But anyways, it'll be safe in my refrigerator!

Good points

Super creamy and soft textured.

The pigmentation is great

No need to apply a lip balm before applying it as they moisturize them well!

Your lips will feel moist & smooth after applying it.

Only one or two swipes are sufficient to obtain the precise color.

The ingredients are super and high class. They are a mixture of natural and synthetic ones which are safe and effective for all type of skins especially sensitive skin.

The price is not much as compared to the qualities.

Queen lipsticks are shipped world wide so it is not difficult to get them. Just order your faves and they will reach you within two-three weeks very safely.

The packaging is quite ordinary & simple. I wish it was more elaborate & fancy.

Limited shades in their collection.

Can melt in hot weather if you are not cautious.

Final thoughts

In the ending I want to say that I love these lipsticks. I got everything which I want from any lipstick. The all qualities which I desire from a high brand lipsticks. I’ll want to request from Queen Cosmetics to develop their makeup ranges and produce more shades in their lipstick range. I hope they will do so near future.

It’s a bright matte orange blush which is a part of the Caribbean Collection.

Packaging

Comes in a very handy small box. Inside it you'll find a wide mirror on one side & the blush on the other.

Shade

It’s a bright orange shade which gives a lovely coral shade on your cheeks after applying with a light hand.

Texture

Silky and smooth, so pigmented that after touching it for the first time, you might hesitate in applying it on your cheeks thinking that it may be too bright & bold.

In the mirror of my own experience

As I told you that when I saw it for first time on the net, the first thought of mine was ‘ hey it’s not for me' & even after touching it my thoughts were the same but when I applied it on my cheeks I was amazed to see its lovely shade and finish. I applied it with a very light hand & gentle strokes so it gave a soft orangish coral look to my cheeks. All my hesitation had gone on seeing the shade. I can apply it very comfortably for my holiday tours to any hill station or sea side even at day time and it’ll be a great option for a night party so I really love this blush ♥♥

The lasting power is amazing. It can stay easily for 5 to 6 hours without any reapplying. In my opinion, no one wants more lasting power in a blush. If you want more, you could get longer wears by using a primer or a cream blush underneath. Like many others I also feel it a cheaper dupe for Nars Taj mahal!!

Good points

I love the packaging which is so handy and I can carry it out very easily for any visit.

Love its matte silky texture.

The pigmentation and smoothness is great.

You can get a lovely coral look after applying it with gentle strokes.

It can make your holidays colorful.

It can be toned down for lighter complexion and can be carried well by darker ones as well.

With a very light application, you can get a natural look which would be perfect for any day occasion.

If you are going for a night party, apply it with a shimmery highlighter. Your cheeks will get radiant just like the lights and it’ll be impossible for anyone to ignore you easily...haha!!!

The lasting power is very impressive keeping the price in mind.

Again I can say that after getting these many qualities, the cost looks unbelievable.

Bad points

If you like light and natural makeup, this blush is not for you.

There is no brush provided with this blush so never forget to carry out your own blush applicator if you are going for a holiday.

Final thoughts

Finally there is no need to say that it’s an impressive product which is definitely a worth buy. The quality, the texture, the intensity, the cost…all are great and incredible ♥♥

This is a definite repurchase for me & I will highly recommend it to all my readers.

Many girls are afraid of wearing orange lips due to the fact that it may look funny or too bold. But here is the solution to your fear & problem. This Bonaire Pout Polish is a funky coral tinted balm which is very wearable & is not too dark or intense. It moisturizes the lips nicely giving it a light coral shade which looks fabulous with dark eye makeup. It has a lovely caramel sort of fruity smell also which made me feel as if it was something edible!! Another great thing is that it has SPF 15 which provides sun protection to the lips. It’s great for everyday use & I’m loving this Pout Polish!!

Good Points

Very moisturizing and non-sticky.

Not too bold & bright.

Has SPF 15 which is a great quality.

Love the fruity, yummy smell!!!

Great for everyday use, but you need to apply it skilfully.

Again, the product is worth the price!!

Bad points

Has to applied using a brush coz a finger application may not be very hygienic.

The lasting power is not very impressive; just 2-3 hours & then you need to reapply it.

Today I’m reviewing some lovely products from one of the best brands I have ever used. I always have been crazy about lip colors. No matter it comes as a lipstick, lip gloss or in any other shape & form. I have used many brands, some are famous ones while some not-so famous.

The packaging of Ellis lip colors is very classy. All products come in pen/bullet shape inside an elegant packet. After opening the cap of the pen you just need to twist the bottom for the product to come out. The difference is only that the creamy lips have a sponge tip applicator while the other two Glazed & Milky come with brush tips applicator.

Texture

I have already mentioned that Ellis lips come in three different textures first-Milky lips, second-Creamy lips and the third-Glazed lips

Milky lips L202: In the mirror of my own experience

It’s an amazing shade. I never used even saw such shade before in any brand yet. It’s a blood shot shade, looks amazing on the lips. Usually I don’t use such deep shade at any occasion but after applying it, I’ll love to apply it some special occasion. I’m sure all eyes will be on me LOL!!!

Final thoughts

I love its quality. Lasting power is impressive. Being a very deep shade, it will not be in much use but if someone loves deep shades, would really love to apply this unique shade.

Inspired look from Ellis Faas using L202

Creamy lips L106: In the mirror of my own experience

It’s a wonderful shade. Light brown with pinkish undertone. Looks elegant on the lips. This shade can be used for any occasion even in daily use even if you are a office going person. Looks beautiful and perfect on both Indian and Western dresses. The texture is creamy and applies on my lips so easily because the sponge applicator is very comfortable for applying.

Finally…

If I call it the most impressive lip color in all three, I will not be wrong. The lasting power of this lip color makes it an elegant and classy product. It can stay on your lips even for the whole day. You don’t need reapply it again and again like most of the other lipsticks. I really love this lipstick.

Using L106

Glazed lips L305

It has a glossy texture and very pigmented in spite of being a light shade. The shade is very unique and different like yellowish beige and it makes my lips so plumpy. I've never used such a lovely shade before. I had seen a shade something like this in Mac Mickey Contractor’s lip gloss Flesh but couldn’t find it due to the L.E. Now I’m so happy to find something similar.

It really makes your look different and eligible.

Final thoughts

Amazing lasting power, easy to apply very light weight but still so pigmented, WOW, what a quality. I’m loving it guys!!!!

Finally….

Overall I can say that I feel very lucky to have got a chance to try these amazing lip colors from this brand. All shades are so pigmented and apply & blend like a dream. The tip applicators make the lip color applying easier. The pen shape is easy to be carried out in your purse and even feels so comfortable during applying even while you are in the your car or traveling.

I highly recommend these lip colors especially the glazed and creamy range to my readers. Try it once, I’m sure, you’ll love these after using once.

I love its packaging. It’s very comfortable to carry out.

It seems like a compact file which is very light weight. It opens like a file and inside it; there is a mirror on the above portion. The shades are covered with a transparent plastic shield for protection.

In the mirror of my own experience

On seeing it for the first time I loved it’s packaging and different shades. Some shades which are not commonly available in India are also present in this palette. It’s not a costly palette so I was not expecting much from it. After applying some shades on my lips, I realized that some shades look lovely but some are so weird especially the milky pink one, looks like a tooth paste on my lips. I was very disappointed but some shades like pink, brown, peach, red and copper etc. made me satisfied. I’ll not tell that it’s a great product but sometimes will be helpful in makeup. It’s cheap in cost so the beginners who want to experiment with their looks can try it.

Good points

Very nice packaging, so easy to carry along.

It gives lot of options to apply different shades on your lips.

The quality of some shades is really good like the 2, 3, 4, 5th.

If you want a lighter shade you can mix the initial one with the white shade to get a lighter version.

The mirror is helpful in applying the shades.

You can make your own shades by mixing others.

Bad points

Some shades are really bad & look like tooth paste....give a very bad finish.

No brush is provided with this palette for applying the shades.

Some shades are useless in this palette like the green, black etc.

There is absence of some shades like purple, violet etc. Even the brown range is less.

Final thoughts

Overall it’s an OK sought of product. As far as the price is concerned you can give it a try once coz some shades are beautiful!!

If you can ignore some bad quality shades, you can try it for experimenting because some shades are nice and look pretty on the lips. The quality of some shades is good.

• Now let's move on to the second product- 10 pairs of false eyelashes with glue

I love using false lashes so thought of trying some falsies from Born Pretty Store as well & these are the ones that i received. These eyelashes come with a professional white eyelash glue. They are easy to apply & give a nice natural look & aren't very dense. The white glue; Eye Charm, is very impressive as it comes with a helpful applicator and makes application of falsies very easy & quick. A good choice to try out at a price of only $4.16

So this was all about the false eyelashes from Born Pretty store. They have many more so you can order your fave ones!!

• And finally we get onto the last product that is Youthful Light Blue nail polish

In the mirror of my own experience

When I saw the shade, I fell in love with it in the first sight, because the shade was so cool, beautiful and suitable for summers. I always love pink shades. When I opened the tube the lovely, fruity strawberry smell welcomed me. Usually I don’t like any smell in my cosmetics but I love this kind of smell especially in lip glosses. During application I felt the super soft sponge like applicator from which the gloss dispensed when the tube was squeezed. The shape was like a lipstick which made it much easier to apply onto my lips. After applying the gloss, when I saw my lips, I was pleasantly surprised to see my lips’ shape. They were completely different from the other days coz they looked so popped up and plumpier.

Good points

I love the light smell of strawberry.

The super soft sponge tip applicator makes it easy to apply the gloss on the lips.

It gives a fuller and plump shape to the lips which makes it beautiful.

The squeezy tube packaging is cute & very handy.

Comfortably can be carried out in the purse and so travel-friendly

The lasting power is good. It can stay for 4-5 hours without reapplying.

The pigmentation is great.

It’s not sticky at all.

At this cost it’s an absolute bargain.

The biggest bad point in this is that it’s not available in India.

Although it’s easily available from their website but lot of girls in India have no way to buy things online.

Finally I love this lip gloss in every way. The quality no doubt is superb. It’s truly a lip lust.
