Its no secret I have some pretty wicked allergies. So much so that I really can't wear mascara. For a long while I've accepted the fact that I'll always be the girl who has to color her eyelashes to have dark eyelashes. But that doesn't help to make them look thick, long and lush. Luckily there are false lashes for that.
I'm not a master at applying false lashes, and my natural eyelashes are in desperate need of tinting, so these macro shots make it quite obvious what flaws I have. But from a distance, you can't see my errors in application or how pale my own lashes are. All you see are pretty eyelashes. I took these photos the other day before grocery shopping and wore them the whole day.
When I apply false lashes I prefer to use my own adhesive, rather than what things come packaged with. I buy my lash adhesive from the MAC counter.
The lashes I'm wearing in the photo are number 012 from KKCenterHK. I also have number 134 and I think they're my favorite pair of eyelashes I've ever owned. I love that 012 and 134 are both natural enough that I can wear them during the day without looking like Kim Kardashian at a red carpet event. They're natural enough to wear at anytime, but they definitely give some extra Oomph to your eyes. Which is what I need.
These do ship from Hong Kong I believe, but shipping was pretty quick. I think mine arrived in about 2 weeks. I'm also a big fan of the price point. With MAC brand eyelashes costing well over the $10 mark, finding ones for $1.50 a pair makes me extremely happy. And if you're careful, you can get a few uses out of them before its time to switch to a new pair (Just know that you can only get a few uses. Otherwise you're risking introducing bacteria to your eye, which is NOT a good idea).
