Pink eye shadow tutorial

Hi all :)

I have always stuck to neutrals and brown eyeshadows, but since getting the sleek pallette, I really wanted to experiment with all the colours. In this tutorial I will be using the pink eyeshadows. 

Here I am wearing Skin79 BB Cream (would you guys like me to review this BB cream?)

Sleek Original palette

Step 1: Brush colour 8 all over the lids and slightly over the crease (depends on your eye shape)

Step 2: then colour 9 in the centre of your lid

Step 3: to add a little more character and shape to my eyes, I added colour 10 on the "outer v" and used a blending brush to smooth out the harshness.

Step 4: apply eyeliner and mascara to curled top lashes

Step 5: line the bottom lashline with the colour 11 on three quarters of the eye, then line with black pencil liner tot he bottom and mascara.

Step 6: lipstick, here I used Dior Addict lipstick in 578, because pink eyeshadow is such a youthful colour, I would stick to lighter lip colours, or even just lipbalm.

Dior's new packaging for their lipsticks are so gorgeous! I love how pretty it is, much better than the previous dull blue ones!

Step 7: I applied Sleek's Rose gold blush on my cheek bones

Step 8: then applied Paul Joe's pink blush on the apples of my cheek to give me a doll like look (I learnt this trick from a fellow blogger Tammy, thank you!)

My first make-up tutorial! (kind of)

HellooO everyone!

You may remember from my previous post that i bought a Trio eyeshadow from Topshop (here), a fellow blogger (Girlish mood) said she wanted to see me do some looks with the eyeshadows, so here is my first look:

I bet you're thinking "erm... i can't see it.." lol! But i assure you, there is colour on my lids, i just went for a very natural look as i don't normally use eyeshadow, i didn't want to be too adventurous just yet.

So mixing the yellow and the red together, i went for more yellow to achieve a light orange.

I applied the orange all over my lids, the used a blending brush and just applied the red on the outer v. I then used a shimmery white for the inner corners of my eyes and mixed the red and blue to create a purple to line the bottom of my eyes. I love this look as it's really light and natural.

Blush: Elf's Natural Radiance in Flushed, I went for a matte blush as my eyeshadow was shimmery already!

Lips: Dior lipstick in 859 Rose libertin ravishing rose and Dior kiss lipgloss in 338

This was my outfit: Tank top and skirt from Uniqlo.

And now, my new pair of shoessss!! They are so adorable!! I absolutely love them! They are from a boutique in London, i'm so forgetful, i forgot to note down the name of the shop =( I will try and remember next time!

I saw a really similar pair in Topshop for twice the price (£28) so i'm really happy with my bargain buy =)
