Nail Foils Collection and Descriptions - Purple Foils

Now on to my favorite list of nail foils, the purples! As most of you will know by now purple is one of my favorite colours so I was really excited to see what these foils would be like. I purchased these foils from Dollar Nail Art using my own money. In this post you will find product photos, close ups of the individual foils and also a brief description.

If you do not know what nail foils are or how to use them please follow this link to see my Introduction to Nail Foils post.

 Geisha Plum:
Geisha Plum is a slightly dirty looking grey purple with a hint of a red tinge to it that is lightly darker than Purple foil. It has not pattern to it but a nice mirror like reflect.

 Imperial Iris:
Imperial Iris and a pretty deep blue based purple with a nice holographic reflect to it. When the light hits this foil it reflects blue, pink, purple and red creating a really pretty holographic effect. This has a similar look to Gold Spectrum expect with a different base colour to it.

Lavender:
Lavender, as its name suggests is a solid pale purple foil with a highly reflective metallic finish. It is more of a grey purple than a blue purple which is kind of like. There is no pattern to this foil at all it is just a solid colour.

 Lilac Crush:
Lilac Crush has a similar pattern to it like Diamond Red or Gold Crush with its tile like appearance except it has a lilac base. The tiles in this foil reflect a really pretty combination of green, teal, blue, pink and a light and dark purple depending on how the light hits it creating a really gorgeous holographic effect. Although this is a pretty simple foil, its one of my favorites.

  Periwinkle:
Periwinkle is a pretty purple foil with more of a blue base than any of the other purple foils shown here. The pattern on the foil is a mix between the tile look of Lilac Crush and the swirl look of Scarlet Frost. The pattern reflects a really pretty combination of blue, dark purple and teal depending on where the light hits it.

 Plum Drops:
Plum Drops has a red based purple foil similar in colour to Tanzanite Fire. The pattern on this foil looks like water droplets on plastic. The water droplet pattern reflects pink, red, blue and purple depending on which way the light hits it creating a pretty holographic effect. Out of all of the purple foils, this one is my favorite.

 Purple:
Purple is a blue based purple foil with a highly reflective metallic finish. It is darker and more blue purple than the Lavender foil. There is no pattern to this foil, it is just a solid colour.

 Tanzanite Fire:
Tanzanite Fire is a similar colour to Imperial Iris except it has more of a red base to it. The pattern on it resembles that of water in a pond. The ripple like effect on this foil reflects blue, purple, punk and red depending on where the light hits it creating a really pretty holographic reflect. To see this foil used please check tartofraises1's out video on Youtube here

 Vivacious Violet:
Vivacious Violet is very similar in colour to Purple foil, the only difference is that it is slightly darker. You don't really need to buy both of these foils because they are so similar and I would personally go with the Purple foil over the Vivacious Violet because it is a little brighter. There is no pattern to this foil only a mirror-like metallic finish.
