Born Pretty Store eye shadow trio-Review, Swatches & photos

Hi friends and readers,

I’m in a great mood today so, thought of reviewing a cute trio from BornPretty Store. This trio is better from the palette that I had I reviewed before.

Born Pretty eye shadow trio

As a trio this palette has three shades in it. All colors are a bit shimmery but not too much.

Packaging

The packaging of this trio is very cute and classy. The pretty eyed bunny box looks really adorable. Inside the box there are three shades in which two are pastel and one is gray. The box has a lovely mirror and an applicator as well. Over all I’m quite satisfied with the packaging.

Price

$4.18

Shades 1

The first shade is a lovely pastel tea rose pink which is a bit shimmery and very pigmented.

Shade 2

This one is light copper brown. Being brown, the shade can give a pastel look in summers.

Shade 3

This one is gray shade. A bit shimmery and quite pigmented.

Some good points

All shades are pigmented and easy to blend.

It is a lovely trio for summers because all the shades give a subtle look.

The shades are not much shimmery; coz much shimmery ones look a bit awkward on the eyes in this season.

Not much fall out. You can manage this fall out easily.

The mirror along in the trio is quite classy and decent.

Though usually I don’t use applicators for applying the shades but if you use it, the one provided is not that bad.

The swatches:

Each swatched twice

Bad points

Again the smell of the same sought that I had mentioned earlier in my previous post of Born Pretty Store’s 16 shades palette. I always tend to stay away from strong smell and this trio has a strong irritating smell in it which I don’t like.

The shades are not highly pigmented but quite pigmented.

It would be better if you use an eyeshadow brush instead of the applicator provided.

Final thoughts

Over all I can say that this palette is neither a wonderful one nor a bad one. I like the pigmentation, blending etc but the smell irritates me a lot.

Recommendation

Yes, a good one for office wear and even for party wears. But if you're not a fan of smelling cosmetics, skip it.
